Design and Motif
Handcrafted from walnut wood, MAHKOTA features a modern interpretation of the bunga raya – Malaysia’s national flower and a symbol of unity – inspired by traditional batik motifs.
Natural red veneer gives the composition warmth and depth, while luminous mother-of-pearl inlays bring definition to the floral detailing. Together, these materials transform the traditional reference into a contemporary expression of Malaysian artistry.

Inside, an ivory velvet lining is finished with intricate dark red floral embroidery that echoes the bunga raya motif. The richness of the materials and precision of the detailing create an interior worthy of the treasures it holds.

At the heart of MAHKOTA is rare wild Malaysian agarwood, selected for its sharp, distinctive fragrance and exquisite floral undertones. Its natural character reflects the depth and aromatic individuality for which exceptional Malaysian agarwood is valued.
Complementing it is a vintage pure Malaysian oud oil, distilled from agarwood sourced in Terengganu. Its harmonious composition unfolds through woody and floral notes, accented by a subtle sweetness that lends the oil depth, balance and lasting presence.
Together, the agarwood and oud oil offer two expressions of the same remarkable material; one revealed through gentle warming, the other through the art of distillation.
